I was honored to serve as keynote speaker at the Fall 2023 Commencement for the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at VCU.
Meeting our newly-minted graduates — like student speaker Jada Whitley — and hearing their ambitions and dreams gives me great hope for the future.
With the education, training, and expertise from the exemplary leadership of Wilder School Dean Susan Gooden and the distinguished faculty and staff, these graduates are well-prepared to take on the challenges facing us. I applaud their perseverance and willingness to help transform our world.
