I am always proud to honor those who’ve carried their country’s banner.

In war and in peace they have been on the frontlines in the preservation of our rights, liberty and safety.

I know from experience and engagement that the people of America respect and honor those who gave their all for the good of their country.

This day is our way of showing the world what we, as a nation, proudly acknowledge.
