The call for a special session of the Virginia General Assembly requires a review of our past history.
While Governor, I was fortunate to have strong bi-partisan support, Republicans and Democrats, as well as many other support entities, and more importantly the people. Virginia’s “One Handgun A Month” law was enacted in 1993; repealed in 2012 when Governor Northam was a state senator.
It was defeated by his fellow Democrats, John Edwards and Creigh Deeds.
Are they with him now?
