Wilder 30th

The recent news about the true COVID information not being given to the people should not be surprising to Virginians.

Our Wilder School polling has shown that the people are not being informed and our faculty are at the forefront of addressing Virginia’s data gap in race and ethnicity reporting as it relates to the equitable distribution of the vaccine.

Susan Gooden, Dean of the Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs, has installed the Racial Institute for Social Equity curriculum to have instructors and students informed about dealing with the resulting effects of this pandemic.

It is important for us to work together in learning about the most effective and realistic ways to confront the disease and the effects on the people of the state and nation.

Stay tuned.
